My calendar shows: Monday, August 26, 2200 UTC [1700 CDT]
We are having our first day at less than the 90?F mark since late June. Yeah, my HVAC unit lost its AC motor a couple of weeks ago and is now getting wobbly and acting very strange. Fortunately the separate unit for the upstairs took the load and kept us somewhat cool. May have to cough up some $$ before winter, though I’m hoping to put off a replacement until early spring.

Our AC failed on Friday...fan motor died at 23+ years. We're at our Son's home a mile away.
I failed to put the August date of our next ZOOM meeting on my calendar. Would one of
you reply with that date and I'll send the ZOOM credentials for that session.
Joe and I have endured five days of excessive temperatures.? It is supposed to move into
90s highs today and moving forward.

Yep, that is what I got from the RAC before (6/15/22). -"The provincial prefix should be appended as a suffix, after your identifying call sign. So in PE, you would identify as "WT4BT/VY2". You do not need to specify more precisely than the province or territory you will be operating in.

I’ll be there but may be using the iPhone app if still on the road. Wasn’t supposed to be out and about but luncheon w/friend got rescheduled from last week. I may have to figure out how to mute/unmute the mic but I promise to have the video off so you don’t get scared or seasick by my driving.

The contest lodge of preference on Belize is/was the Maya Hill Lodge <>. But since the BARC <>?Club shack burned down in 2021? they have been in “recovery mode” trying to get equipment, etc. replaced. Would have to contact them directly to find out current status of operations. Maya Hill or one of the other, more seaside, lodges might still be the go-to locations. A couple oof nice ones on the near-shore cayes that seem to have good prices and amenities, though VERY laid back, might be the way to go. Radio from the porch, or hammock, or beach chair; snorkeling, diving, fishing, sunning and vegetating seem to be the daily chores. Maybe a boat ride out to one of the marine reserves (activate portable from the boat? Maybe)
Ev, this “Travel Zoo” sounds a tad expensive for a two-day in-country operation. But definitely comfy! Mac
