Is there a way to print a message on Groups.io?
?
Thanks to anyone who replies.

I get an acceptable result from the print function in my web browser. Others may get less acceptable results of course.

On most browsers in Windows you can simply right-click and select Print. For Firefox, you'll need to click the three horizontal lines in the upper right-hand corner and select?"Print". In Safari on a Mac, select "File" and then "Print".
Are you in some kind of unusual set-up? Are you using a mail app like Outlook or Thunderbird that you need some assistance with?

From my personal experience (on Google Chrome), printing messages from the website "works", but is not perfect.? The appearance is somewhat different, but usually not that bad.
?
I print to PDF all the time.

I do it a bit different. On Firefox or Chrome. I use Windows Snipping Tool. I have it on the task bar. And click it from there. Drag the arrow over what you want to "keep". From there, you can save it or print it. But only jpg or gif. Not pdf.

You can still "save" it to a PDF from Windows Snipping Tool by printing it to the Microsoft Print to PDF printer Windows comes with, it will create the PDF filename you enter when asked.

That's true if you print the page/screen you're in using File-Print / Ctrl+P as it includes other screen elements as well, for example the OP messages prints like this when printed like that:

But you can highlight though just the message contents only, right-click and select Print and you get a cleaner output:

Yup.? I do that almost all the time.? Even with that, differences remain.

Thank you to all who replied with such great suggestions. I tried highlighting by right clicking and then Control+P and got just what I wanted.
