New entry on calendar is dark
Hi I added new events to my calendar. When I click back on the date box on calendar, the first page is dark and hard to read. If I click on details, that page is fine. But if I go further to see responses (RSVP's) that page is dark again.
Any idea on why that is happening?
My first few event entries on the calendar when I started the group are fine.
Thank you. |

Not really following you. What do you mean by the "date box?" A screenshot or two might help. Wild stab in the dark:? Go to /settings/prefs and change "Dark Mode" to Off (if it isn't already). Maybe that will help. This is the part that confuses me. Why would one calendar entry do this while another does not? I'm sure we'll figure it out eventually. ?

Thanks. After adding a new event to calendar the event is highlighted on that date which is a square or boxes on the calendar. When I clicked on that highlighted wording on the date square to check if it was working and info is displayed I noted the dark background and almost illegible text.
I¡¯ll ?try the settings you described.? |
I too have this problem; it appears to be because of dark mode. I love dark mode because it is easier on the my eyes, but it does have problems. In this case, I suspect the text should have been made white. In other cases, I note that formatting, such as highlighting, becomes invisible. Also, copy/paste from dark mode often creates problems. I think making dark mode better would be most helpful, but I don't know how complex that is. AllTheBest. ? ? ~Mike

Generally, if you copy/paste anything that's html (as opposed to plain text), you're at risk that it won't play nicely in dark mode. Inline styles and blocks are especially a problem, as they may override the default text colors. ?
