?Hi, again, I'm wondering if it's possible to export data (which I tried by the way) and it's a bunch of computerized squares which groups. io sent to me in a Zipdrive. Does anyone know what application I need to be able to read it? Or if there's a way to export the messages and of course be able to read them? Thanks again! Donnell Bell |

The Groups.io Help Center includes the Owners Manual and Members Manual. They can be browsed online or downloaded as PDF files. |

Some mail clients can open this file as a mail folder. The only time I've actually done it successfully is with Thunderbird and its "InportExportTools" add-on. I'm told that both Apple Mail and W10 Mail can also do so, but I haven't actually tried it.? ?
Having thus opened the messages as a folder, you can use the mail client's "print folder" function to save them all as one long, formatted PDF. That's the best I've ever been able to do.

To be honest, the best place to read the messages (and access all the other exported data) is probably back where you started -- in the group. The export is intended only as a backup, and although one could probably reconstruct most things from it eventually (e.g. "Likes" do not appear anywhere in an export), I'll be happy if I never have to make the attempt.

Good luck,
