Re: Limiting messages to a sub group
That's how it works anyway. Just post your message to the subgroup and only subgroup members will receive it (based upon their subscription settings). Regards Andy

Re: Limiting messages to a sub group
Thank you, what I was hoping was that if they were in the sub group when they sent the message, it would only go to the sub group. I can try sending a message from the sub group and see where it goes,

Re: Limiting messages to a sub group
The address of the email determines where it goes. Messages addressed to the subgroup will only go to the subgroup. I¡¯m unaware of a way to control where the messages go based on who is sending.

Limiting messages to a sub group
I have searched Help in the manuals, but I can¡¯t find an answer to this question. I would like to create a sub group where The messages created in that sub group do not go out to anyone else except

Re: Invitations to join not being received
It's no coincidence those two particular domains addresses are having problems, Hotmail & msn are both owned by the same company (Microsoft) and use the same servers, rules and whatnot, and also both

Jen, Thanks. Both say invite is not in spam nor junk folder.

Re: Invitations to join not being received
I'm guessing the invites are in their spam folder ...

Re: Invitations to join not being received
Well, at least the invitations did not bounce. Successfully sending the invitation doesn't necessarily mean they'll be delivered, though. How long ago did you send them? You may simply have to wait.

That means that it was sent (and received) by whatever address you used.? Why they didn't see it is something they'll need to dig into. Duane -- The Groups.io Help Center (

Re: Invitations to join not being received
Hi Bruce, Thanks for the response. No, they are not already members. No, I did not get an error message; sent invitations page simply says ¡°sent¡±. One of the guys is a member of another groups.io

Re: Invitations to join not being received
Are they already members? You cannot invite someone who's already in the group. That may seem ridiculous, but I have to pick the low-hanging fruit. Failing that... -- Do you get an error message when

May I ask how you access it so that it can be edited? I think I found a way to do it but would like to know how you do it as I am very new to this site. Thanks so much.

Re: Home page (owner)
@Pine You might want to post a screenshot of where you are and what is on your screen. I have no issue editing all the text on my home page.

Re: Sending invitations to multiple people
It makes no sense based on the Manual information. My email list was rejected so I had no outstanding invitations out there waiting for approval.

Unfortunately, there's no way to do that. It's been suggested as a system feature multiple times. All I can do is parrot what already Patrick said:? Moderate all messages with attachments as they
