It makes no sense based on the Manual information. My email list was rejected so I had no outstanding invitations out there waiting for approval.

Well, kinda. Change the Reply-to setting to "Only to Sender." They can still reply to whoever posted the initial message/image, but not to the group. Anything coming back that meets the threading
