Password
Maybe you are still using the default password that Groups.io set for you when you were moved over from YahooGroups or Google Groups.
Or you have just been getting the messages by email.
Now you want to read older messages, use tools on your group site, like the files or calendar so you need a password to log in.
Here's how to reset your password.
If you are using a default password:
1) open the groups home page with this password,?
2) in the upper right you will see your name and an arrow (upside down triangle)
3) click on the arrow
4) then click profile.? You are now on the login page where you can set a personal password that is a minimum of 6 characters. Pick something you'll remember.
If you haven't logged into Groups.io yet:
1) cllick on Log In (top right).
2) click on Email me a link to log in?
3) go to your email and click on the link. Follow instructions. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail if you don't see the email from Groups.io
4) in the upper right you will see your name and an arrow (upside down triangle)
5) click on the arrow
6) then click profile. ?You are now on the login page where you can set a personal password that is a minimum of 6 characters.?
or use one of the other options - Facebook, Google, etc.
If you want to use those as well, please fill those out.
If you join other groups on IO, the password you make here will be your password for them as well.
Forgot your password?
Click on the link on the homepage, just below the password box.
Profile
On top right of the Login page you will see:?Login? Profile? Other Services? Billing?? You are in Login.??
Please click Profile and there you can set a display name, tell others about yourself, post a photo if you would like to do so.? We all did something like this (if you are like me) it was years ago on Yahoo, and may have forgotten it.??
This is optional and you can skip it if you like.? I just wanted to make you aware of this as I know some of you would like this option.
IO works pretty much same as Yahoo once you set up your information.? Any other group you join on IO site uses the information set up.
The official Groups.io user documentation is in the Groups.io Help Center.
