Unfollow?

If I click the link at the bottom of an email and follow a topic, is there a way to unfollow?

Yes, you can unfollow.

There are updated ways - see the Help for members -?/helpcenter/membersmanual/1/controlling-the-volume-of-email-messages-you/following-or-unfollowing-topics-and-hashtags?single=true
?
See especially the section on managing muted and followed topics.

Stephanie,

there a way to unfollow?
What Frances said.

Also, the next message you receive in the followed topic will have an unfollow link instead.

But if you're a moderator, you may want to see all posts in case some
are worthy of removal or taking other actions against the member
posting. If you're a mod and unfollow a topic, you lost that ability
to monitor posts by email at least.
