Truncated email addresses when included in an email

When I enter an email address in a Message (new topic)? of a non group member address e.g. a company or iother orgainsation,? the address does not appear in total when the post is published. . For example this appears:? ?commodorekeys @..................... How can I ensure the address is published. On two occasions I have simply had to ask members to email me off the group for the address. Tony K

If you're the group owner (or moderator with correct permissions), you can go to the group Settings page, scroll down to the Privacy section, and change Hide Email Addresses In Archives to "Do not mask email addresses in the archives.", then Update Group at the bottom.

Another popular solution is to type the address as xxx(at)yyyy.zzz

Most recipients seem able to work out what they have to do...

If I do this (do not mask email....) will non-Members be able to see them?

Peter -- On the Settings page, immediately below the selection box Duane was talking about, it says this:

Note: if archives are publicly viewable, and viewed by a non-member, email addresses will always be hidden.

In my test, if they haven't set a Display Name or User Name, then their email address is displayed online at the top of posts.
