Transfer queue wait time

Is there any way to find out where a transfer is the queue?? Or how know long it's taking these days?

TIA
Lew

Hi,

I recently completed 2 transfers so have some recent experience here.
There are some manual steps that are needed to be completed by one person (Mark).
There is a backlog of requests, somewhere around 300-400 but there is no transfer queue page that gives you visibility to where you are in the queue.
I would allow 2 weeks for your request to get to the top of the queue.
Once Mark picks your group up for transfer it happens quickly. You will get a email requesting you make the groups.io email a moderator on your group and then you click a button in the email and it will happen in 24 hours.

YMMV

I clicked the button on May 5th and my group has been showing "We are in process of transferring your group" for five days now. Is there any way to check the status in more detail?

Thanks, I was just wondering about the time to get the transfer agent active on our Yahoo group.? Only been a week, but we are SO ready ...

I currently have 711 groups ahead of mine.
This was because of an issue I had starting my transfer the first time.
It required me to delete my transfer request to fix it and start a new one.
Now will there be enough time to get my group transferred before Yahoo removes all of our messages?

I am at #871

I was at #801 Monday night when I hit step 3

This morning I went from #856 to #904 in an hour.

I didn¡¯t delete and/or restart my request, although my first invite went nowhere apparently and it took me a week to see that. Too bad that happened, because I paid on 10/18 and would have been much further along if that didn¡¯t happen. :(

Yahoo stuff doesn't disappear until December 14th.? I certainly hope all the transfers can be done by then.
