Transfer number from one group to another?

I am the owners of two separate groups.? One intended for leadership members the other for general membership.
?
Is there an easy way to move individuals from one group to another?
?
TIA

The groups would be separate entities and there's no single action you can take that would transfer a member from one group to another.? As an Owner, you can always remove a member from a group. If you have a Premium group, you can Direct Add a member to that, otherwise, you would be limited to sending them an invite and waiting for them to respond.

I have a similar situation. Our main group ["general members"] is on the Premium plan - mainly just to support this platform - while the BOD group is Basic. Whenever we have our annual election results, I remove the outgoing board members from the BOD group and send the incoming ones an invitation.

If your member notices of type Removed Member and Invite are set up properly in the leadership group then these activities pretty much explain themselves. However, the incoming board members do have to opt in and click the link, which sometimes requires a little hand-holding.

Hope this helps,
Bruce

Bruce,

Why not make your BOD a subgroup of the Main group? I have a similar group and we have lots of restricted subgroups that are not seen as a subgroup unless one is a member. People are removed from the subgroups and direct added when needed.
