Transfer help

Hello! I have successfully transitioned 3 Yahoo groups. I am now attempting to do a 4th, and seem to be having a problem.? I went to the start transfer page, and entered the info for the old group name and the new group name, click begin transfer process, and nothing happens! I am a bit worried, since the Yahoo group name contains an underscore as part of the name, and when I created the new group it did not like that, so I had to take it out in order to create the new group. Could this be the show stopper? does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to successfully transfer the group?

Thanks!

Patti

We transferred two groups from Yahoo into one IO group and all three
group names were different, so transferring to a group with a
different name should not matter.

Our Yahoo group had an underscore, and the GIO group was the same name without the underscore.? It transferred just fine, once GIO got around to responding to the Yahoo invite we sent.

Try clearing your browser's cache or doing it on a different machine in case some old rubbish in there is gumming it up.

Thanks Mark and Don!

Reading what you both experienced, I decided to try the transfer start a 4th time. And, thankfully, it worked! So, I must conclude that either the site was busy and my request did not go through because of that, or perhaps I tried to initiate the transfer too soon after the new group was approved.? I had received the email notifying me of the approval, and the new group name was in the drop-down menu, but maybe there is some minimum time I did not achieve between approval and initiating a transfer.

Again, my thanks to you both!
