reason for bouncing

开云体育

Yesterday I received an email saying I was bouncing? and my entire groups.io groups have had emails suspended.
I immediately clicked on the link to unbounce me and it is fine now.
However, I'm wondering if you can tell me WHO is bouncing me, from this message in the notification... and why.

mx-10.au-east.atmailcloud.com: 550 Rejected - Content Policy

I need to know if it is a problem with my ISP so I can talk to them.

Thanks for any help.

Poking around the web, it looks like atmail provides e-mail services for some telecoms, governments, and businesses.? (I did a search on atmailcloud.)? Your ISP may have contracted its e-mail out to them.? The 550 error means the messages were stopped by atmail's spam filter.? So yes, contact your ISP.? Groups.io may be trying to work this from their end too.? -- Jim Ringland

In my case my email host for my domain introduced SPAMCOP a couple of years ago, this creates lots of blocking but annoyingly allows most spam through.
There is a status page on mine to check the blocking situation.
I've had many disagreements with my hosting company because this was added without my knowledge.
Imagine if the postman started doing this as he approached you letterbox.

Thanks... I just did the search and it looks like that atmail is the owner of The Messaging Company, who are gradually taking over the email branch of my ISP, Westnet.
I have not yet been transferred to them, yet it seems they are already blocking mail.
I will definitely phone? Westnet tomorrow, to try to straighten things out.

When I changed my domain name/email hosting company a few months ago I checked
first that I could have all spam filtering switched off. They are in UK. Send
me a private email if you would like to know who it is (this is not the place
for advertising).
