Somewhere I read that new or old subjects and ideas to improve are permissible.

For our group especially, I'd like to see ?POLLS as a clickable choice under ADMIN.

We use them frequently. ?At first I couldn't find POLLS, so I used the database feature. ?Now that I've been told where it is, I still do a hunt and peck trying to find it (guess its like trying to teach an old dog new tricks).

Sure do wish it was easier to access.

There was a separate entry on the left menu for Polls a couple of years ago.? Because it's only a special type of Topic, it was merged into the New Topic page.? Finding existing Polls is easy using the Hashtags page or selecting them from the View drop down menu.

The View page is where you read messages, for example /g/groupname/topics.

To delete a poll, go to the first post and select Delete Poll from the More menu.? If you only want to Close a poll, use the Edit Poll choice instead and scroll to the bottom to close it.

I am lost.
I can see how to delete the poll. There is an option to do that.
But i cannot for the life of me figure out how to close the poll.?
When I select the Edit poll, I get only these choices Moderate, Locked, Sticky

There is nothing else there. So what do I select to close the poll.

You have to unlock the poll before you can close it. How do I know? I was once stumped by this, too.

Thanks - that worked like a charm! My poll is now closed. It gave me a whole bunch of different options with a blue button at the bottom to click on to close the poll. Ilene ? ? ? ?
