Hi,
When we with to do a Direct Add of a new member to one or our subgroups, we go to the Main group, select Direct Add and fill in the info, including checking the box for the subgroup to which we want them added.? This causes the member to get two emails.? One for being added to the Main subgroup (which we'd like to turn off but that doesn't seem possible), and one for being added to the desired subgroup.? I have established one "Direct Add" user notice in the Main group with text explaining to ignore that email.? I have a "Direct Add" user notice set up in the desired subgroup to actually welcome the new member.?? The problem is that that the text from the Main group winds up in both emails and the text established for the desired subgroup doesn't get sent at all? ?!!??? Is this a bug or the designed behavior?? If it's the way it was intended behavior do I need to not use the subgroup check box on the add to Main and then do a 2nd Direct Add from the desired subgroup in order to get the emails to the member correct?? Some other solution? Thanks -- Dan |
