my own messages

Sorry to be a pain if this has already been addressed, but...

I'm not receiving my own messages from my group. ?I've posted a "good morning" and a "this is a test" and have not received either in my yahoo inbox.

Yes, I've received the responses from other members, and others members unrelated posts.

Yes, I've checked my subscription and all is okay there.

Any hints, tips or clues? ?Thank you.

At Groups.io use the drop down menu after your name in the upper right and select:
Account: Preferences: My Posts
Check the box for: "I always want copies of my own messages"
Click on "Update Preferences"

However some Email Providers (on their own) might still not display your own posts.

?psb b,

Any hints, tips or clues?

?Go to your Subscription ?page in that group and click on the Email Delivery History tab. See if the Recent Bounces box includes any of your postings - that would tell you if your email service rejected those messages for some reason.

Some email services have been known to reject messages coming back to you that claim to be from you, on the basis that they were delivered by some other email service. Yahoo Mail though, does not have a history of doing that, that I know of. It is possible that they're taking the lesser step of diverting your messages to your Spam folder, again because messages from you - to you have been commonly associated with spam.

Michael's suggestion will likely not help. That account checkbox controls a work-around that, so far as I know, is only needed for Gmail users (possibly including private or company domains powered by Gmail). But again, not Yahoo Mail.

Then something clicked in this pea brain....yahoo has tucked them into SPAM!

Durn but there were a lot of messages in there! ?Thanks for all the help.
