is there a age to join groups Io

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hello and Merry Christmas

I just recently found out that I have a 12 year old that joined my group

Is there a age required to join groups IO?

Just curious before I let this one go.

Account holders must be at least 13 years of age.

I think it would depend on your group and its purpose and goals and content For boy or girl scouts 12 is not that young !

The wording of the TOS implies that the TOS applies to group owners, not subscribers. But even if the TOS applies to both owners and non-owners, the TOS applies only to people who *register*. It is not required to register with Groups.io in order to join a mailing list.

Hello Bruce

Yes it does, the parent¡¯s are aware, so I was told but I¡¯m not certain

So I don¡¯t think I am going to keep this member.

It¡¯s a Christmas group so nothing out of line is ever discussed. Just a lot of recipes and friendly chatter about Christmas.

Still, not to comfortable because this child is asking to speak to Santa over the phone and I don¡¯t want to cause problems or maybe create one.

Thank you

Sugar

That seems pretty clear to me.
