Inactive User Message

Edited

Tried to direct add a new member. She has never been a member before. I got this message:

The following email addresses had errors:

jexx@...: Inactive user

?

I searched your history but it didn't give me any clues as to how to solved this problem, I tried it twice.

I have seen that message. I means the user is still in the RI state and won't be allowed to do/join anything until the reverification is complete. The error text is opaque at best!

best, Malcolm.

Did you check in Admin, Members in your own site?
?
In a search in Help, Group Owners for the word inactive, I also see this:
?
Note: In the User Status column of the downloaded list, a value of user_status_inactive means the user¡¯s Groups.io account was disabled by Groups.io management. The subscription records associated with an inactive account remain in the system and are accessible only by Groups.io management.
?
According to this Beta post -
inactive means deactivated (by Groups.io Management).
?
I don't know if you can find out why she was deactivated but possibly for violating the terms of service, conduct.
