Hiding Subscriber Email Address?

Is anyone familiar with a setting within the admin or subscriber settings for a subscriber to hide their return Email address.? I had this question raised by a new subscriber who felt groups.io software was compromising their privacy.?

My initial reaction is to suggest setting up an alternate web based email account (you can have multiple Google accounts) and using that email for groups.io or other social media.

There's not currently a way to hide it in posts that go out by email.? There has been some discussion on beta@ about having anonymous groups where this would be possible, but nothing has been done yet.? It's no worse than the way YG is.

Ken,

Is anyone familiar with a setting within the admin or subscriber
settings for a subscriber to hide their return Email address.
Groups.io has no equivalent to the Y!Groups option:
Hide Email: |_| Allow members to hide their email address from the group
which allows members to hide their email and IP addresses.

My initial reaction is to suggest setting up an alternate web based
email account (you can have multiple Google accounts) and using that
email for groups.io or other social media.
That's probably his/her best option. Choosing Gmail will hide their IP address so long as they post via the Gmail web interface.
