Hashtag bug
#hashtags
Before I report this on the beta group let me know if it makes sense, or if you have any insight.
?
If a subject line includes a string preceded by the # symbol, and ending with a punctuation mark, the string will not be recognized as a hashtag.?
?
If the group's hashtag permission is set to "Messages from members can only be tagged with existing hashtags, new hashtags will be removed," the message will not be bounced, and the string will still not be recognized as a hashtag.
?
(Yes, "bounced" is used incorrectly here; I'm just using the same terminology that is used on the settings page.) |

It would have to be #test ! for it to work as you seem to expect.? I seem to remember all of that being covered in the manuals.
