Group e-mail address

Hello,

Shown on Admin / Settings / General, tab "Group e-mail address" is: [email protected] (where xxx is "mygroupname")
but my welcome message says the Group address is "[email protected]" (where xxx is "mygroupname")

Messages addressed either way both get through to the main site.
But showing one on the Group Settings page and another in the welcome message is undesirable.

Can I (as owner) change this so that the address noted everywhere is "[email protected]" (where xxx is "mygroupname")?

Thanks

Alan

The default Welcome message is initially defined when you set up the group, before you create any subgroups.

No, but you can do it the other way around...edit the Welcome message to match what appears on the Home page.

You can update the welcome message at ??Is the email address at the bottom of the welcome message correct? What about the bottom of your welcome webpage?
