I realize you can filter #hashtags in your message delivery, am I correct there is no way to filter topics or #hashtags when viewing the site?

I believe you are correct. It has been suggested in beta, but that was two years ago and there's not been much discussion on that front.

Yes, that's correct. Someone suggested it recently on beta, so you could get into that conversation if you want the feature.

Currently no way within the context of a single group. But on the Groups.io home page you can look at messages filtered by Mute or Follow in lists that combine all of your subscriptions.
