Perhaps I'm missing something very basic here, but here goes.? Is there a way to create a new file (not transferred from Yahoo!) in Groups.io which can be edited "in place"?? Yahoo! Groups offered the option to create a text file that could subsequently be easily edited while in the site.?

I am trying to create a simple file of a list of officers for an art guild.? I would like to be able to edit the names within Groups.io Files as needed.? What I find now is that I have to create a .pdf document outside of Groups.io and then bring it in.? If I want to edit the document it seems I have to do that in my own "outside" files and then swap the files out in Groups.io?

There is currently no 'in place' editing for files, but it has been requested on the beta group, the official suggestion box for the site.? Text files shouldn't be too difficult, but other formats may never happen.

Files seems like a more logical place for what I'm storing on the Groups.io site, but looks like wiki will certainly work.? Thanks!

I used the sidebar function in the Wiki to create a list of leaders in our group. You can also put a "sticky" wiki page that sits on top of your message board, though it only shows a few lines of text and then an option to see the whole thing. One other option is to create a database, that would be easily edited and downloaded.

I also want to have a file of guild by-laws in the same area as the board of directors list so I don't think databases would be ideal.? I will definitely try to work with the Wiki page.? Thanks for the sidebar suggestion.? Still feeling my way around, and all the helpful suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!
