Deleting all subgroups causes main group name to revert
Hello
Okay, I had to test this out because it wasn't clear what would happen.? I created a subgroup for my test group, and then later I deleted the subgroup again (so that there were no more subgroups).? Unexpectedly, the main group's name then got reverted back to the original original name, and it appears as if I can no longer send e-mails to the main group's domain-style e-mail address.? This is either a bug or something that ought to be communicated more clearly. So, this means that if I have "[email protected]"?and I create a subgroup called "one",?and rename the main group from "main" to "two", and I then delete the subgroup, mails can no longer be sent to "[email protected]" and must be sent to "[email protected]" again.? Essentially this means that one must always keep at least one dummy subgroup alive in order to maintain the domain-style group e-mail address.? Is that right? The impression I got from the help files is that the group address change after creating a subgroup is non-reversible. Samuel |

I tested it by changing the main group's name from "main" to "original" before deleting the sole subgroup, and the main group's domain-style name remained intact this time. Still, it is unexpected that a main group named "main" would lose its name. Samuel |
