From what I'm reading, you receive a summary once every 24 hours. It could have very few messages or hundreds, depending on your group's message traffic that day. Is that correct?? Is it true that the summary contains only the first few words of each message and not the whole message?? Does it work that way regardless of how many messages are within a summary?? I'm uncertain what is true and what is untrue about any of this.

"Daily Summary sends a once-daily list of topics posted that day. Unlike the digests the summary does not include the text of any of the messages, only the list of topics."

Okay then, would it be possible to update (for the groups.io system) ... the description of that on the screen where a member edits his/her subscription preferences?? That menu doesn't tell you that the Summary mode doesn't contain any messages.

Please post your suggestion of wording change for Summary on?
Mark monitors that one. I would put a hashtag or two as well.

A Daily Summary contains no messages, just topics.?

Sometimes the best way to find out things like this is to try it and see. But for the benefit of you and others, I've attached a screenshot.
