Creating calendar events
#calendar
#groupowner
smoky_stu,
I created this group which for all intents and purposes makes me theOnly when logged in using the same address you used when creating the group. If you've used more than one address at Groups.io, the system thinks that each is a different person. ...but it won't let me create an event in the calendar area, says IIf you can see the calendar but cannot add an event, then I think you must be logged in as a member of the group, not its owner or a moderator. Or possibly you are not logged in at all, if the group's calendar is set to public view. As a confirmation, can you see and use the Admin button in the left column? It should be under Subscription and above Messages. Shal -- Help: /static/help More Help: /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki Even More Help: Search button at the top of Messages list |
I suspect that Shal is -- as usual -- on the right track.
Keep in mind that logins expire after 30 days, or whenever you delete your browser cookies. Regards, Bruce -- The system Help is your friend.??/static/help |

The answer to your question, though, is no...scheduled reminders should go out whether you're logged in or not. Sorry that I didn't quote enough of the context.? I suggest that you log in (make sure that you do so as an Owner, not a Member!) and then go to Settings. Scroll down to Features... Calendar and make sure that it is set to Subscribers can view, Moderators can edit and NOT Calendar is disabled. Chris |
