Calendar email Shows 2 Different Dates in 2 Different Time Zones - How to Fix? #cal-notice

Setup an event but the cal-invite email sent shows wrong date/ time in some places, correct in others? - can't figure out where the data is being pulled from as there is no Agenda field in the creation form.? Date should be Dec. 21 7-9PM EST NOT Dec. 22. Thought I'd changed the date display to EST vs UTC but maybe I missed it somewhere else?? Very confusing for recipients.? Thx for any help.
? ?Andrea?

Andrea -- 9 PM on Dec 21 EST is 2 AM the following day in England.

Groups.io is a global community, and so are many of the groups here.?Any event that you set up will display at correct time/date for each subscribers's local time zone. Individuals can set their local time zone at?/account?page=prefs? Note that this is an account setting, not a group setting, and will apply to every group that individual has joined.?

If you want to set up a default time zone for people that join your group, it can be done at Admin>Settings>Default Sub Settings (button at the top of the Settings page). Please note that this is only a default for those who don't already have a groups.io account (i.e.: their account was set up as a result of joining). If they already have a groups.io account, the Default Sub Setting of your group will not override whatever they have previously chosen.

Hope this helps,
Bruce

I addition to your own time zone setting, there's one for the calendar, lower right.
