Auto Notices (sender address?)

 

I have manually sent welcome notices (from a list of pre-written notices) when we get a new member, and choose +Owner on the message FROM pull-down.?
?
I am automating it but do not see an option how to specify that it be sent from the +Owner (rather than ¡°me¡±.) ?i.e., there is no pull-down to choose which sender when composing/updating the saved Notice.?
?
Will it ALWAYS be sent from the +Owner or am I missing something obvious to make that happen?

If you've set up the notice and made it active, it will always be sent from the owner address.? If you use it in a reply to a member, you have to manually choose.

WHERE can I confirm that a certain (new join) member was sent a welcome auto notice?

I would think it¡¯d be in the member¡¯s email history, but it's not there.?
Where is that activity recorded?

I just tested - invited an email address to my test site. Accepted it. And I see in Welcome email in Email Delivery History for the new member.
?
Unfortunately, you can't see it if it is too long ago for "email delivery history" to show that date.

Do you or anyone else know the length of time for thd email delivery history? ?I don't see that revealed in the owner help manual.?

Based on what I can see in one of my groups, it looks like Delivery History and Unsuccessful Attempts are both the last 20 items.? I seem to remember Mark commenting on this 'recently', but don't find it now.

Just looked at mine in GMF. I get a lot as a moderator and it is just 20 items including moderator notices. But the earliest is yesterday, May 13 about multi-language.?

If your group isn't very active, your new member's record will be longer!
