Apparent sudden abandonment of a list?

There is a new group list, but seems the owner abandoned all of a sudden.

At the moment, there are only 3 subscribers including me.

The listed was created 13 Jan 2020.

I sent 2 messages and both bounced back as undeliverable even the address is correct.

If it is abandoned, I would like to take over the apparent abandoned?list.

They may still be in setup mode.? Are there any messages?? I joined a list that was created just after the YG announcement, Oct 21 2019, and it still isn't open for business.? (I think they didn't want to pay the money for a transfer and are still trying to figure out how to do it.)? 10 members, no owner replies, no posts accepted, no content at all.? I'm going to give them a little more time before I give up, at least for now.

David, that is only 6 days (unless you put the wrong year!)
Is it possible that you either have the wrong email address or you are using the wrong email address.
Can you visit the group home page?
Any new messages?
If yes, check your own subscription (left menu) to check your delivery history.

What is the name of the list that you think might be abandoned, David?

It is now active. Seems my messages to that listowner jolted him or enough to activate it.

Hi David,

If it was a former Rootsweb one I saw a number of List Owners setting up lists here but stating that they wouldn't be "open for business" until 1 March.

I know who that ONE person saying that but SHE couldn't keep it closed because she is being flooded by subscription notices.
