Extra Member Data

On each member page, there is a field called Extra Member Data. As the group owner/moderator, I would like to store some info about the members there. However, I don¡¯t seem to be allowed to type in that field. Am I missing something?
Thank you!

Since this is Premium and Enterprise feature only, I can't test it, but here are instructions from Help:
See?/helpcenter/ownersmanual/1/setting-default-email-options-and-user-settings/extra-member-data-panel-premium-and-enterprise

Help available from Groups.io help and GMF wiki.

?

You can only add info if you have a paid group, free groups only display that data (if there already, to account for downgrades).

If you do have a paid group, you need to first define what the extra data fields are, go to Admin->Settings->Default Sub Settings and make sure to hit Save on the bottom of the page.? You can then edit that data per member.

Cheers,
Christos

Christos detailed how to set this data initially.? The Extra Member Data fields are new and the whole set up is not fully developed just yet. There are ongoing discussions about how this feature would be used in subgroups so as yet, the extra data is only available in a main group. Personally, I would like to see fields and values defined in the main group propagate to subgroups in the same way that member colours do. The /updatemember endpoint in the API has been updated to expose the new fields but I suspect, could be subject to change as this feature is developed further.
