CANNOT INVITE any new members

NYAccess

When I click the [INVITE] button, my computer

screen immediately becomes blank or all white.

I CANNOT INVITE any new members,
not even people who are members
of other groups that I moderate.?
I cannot invite even one new member.

Additionally, it seems that when this
problem happens, it never goes away.
Waiting a few weeks does not help.

One of the groups that cannot invite any
new members, has only has 83 members,
so the limit of 100 members
should not be a problem -- yet.

Last but not least, if the reason why I
cannot invite more members is because
I reached the limit of 100 members,
then why do I see a blank screen or
white screen, instead of an error message
that warns me about the 100-member-limit?

?

The groups that cannot invite anybody are:

RealEstateOfBrooklyn

RealEstateOfManhattan

Please help me, and thanks in advance.

I have just done a test invite on one of my groups

It went exactly as it should

You raised the same point on Group_Help a couple of days ago.? No need to raise it in two different places.

That says to me that there's a problem with your computer.? It could be bad information in the cache, an obsolete system file, or any of several other thing, including a plugin that's interfering.? The site uses javascript, so I'd concentrate in that area.? Troubleshooting your system is beyond the scope of this group.

I checked both groups and based on the creation date, you're not subject to the 100 member limit.

First question; are you the Group Owner for both groups, or are you a Moderator?

Second Question: if the latter, do you have the necessary Permission to invite members?

I have some browser add-ins that sometimes break a website. While I won't go
into an extensive reply, since that's not what the group is here for, these
add-ins have settings you can check on a per-site basis. Two days ago I was
having problems with a website where friends of mine did not have any trouble. I
disabled an ad blocker and that didn't help. I then disabled a privacy add-in
and then had full access to the website.

So you can play with settings on browser add-ins but I first discovered that it
was a browser add-in issue by installing another web browser and I added no
add-ins. I was able to correctly see the website. I went back to my regular
browser and then started disabling things and found the source of the problem.

Look for add-ins that you added, or maybe are part of your malware protection,
ad blockers, or privacy-related add-ins.
