Payment method question
I am owner of a number of groups.? The responsibility for paying premium fees for different groups lies with different people, with their own credit cards.
How would this work? - Does each group have its own payment method? - If I make them a moderator and give them billing privileges, will they be able to put their own credit credit in as the payment method for a given group, without it affecting my other groups? |

The system won't go through a list trying to get a payment.? If the person making the payments quits, you'd need to make yourself the payor to continue.? ? Keep in mind that the CC is part of the person's site account, so would be used for any groups they pay for. Duane -- The official Groups.io user documentation is in the Groups.io Help Center. Does a payor have to be a moderator? That's a yes (with at least Billing permission) because otherwise they wouldn't have access to the Admin menu.? According to Mark's explanation, whatever happens to them doesn't change their status as payor unless/until another person assumes the status.? If they don't remove their CC info first, they could be charged for the next renewal. Duane -- The official Groups.io user documentation is in the Groups.io Help Center.
