Tracking engagement

Hi there,

Is there a way to track the number of people who open/ read new topics, as a way of tracking engagement?

Thanks

No.? The only 'tracking' done by the site is what is required to ensure that features and functions work as needed.

As a group Owner, I do understand why it could be useful to be able to monitor subscriber activity with more granularity. And yet, as a subscriber, I also like the fact that no one is looking over my shoulder. The fact that groups.io does not do such tracking [or advertising] is one of the things that favorably distinguishes it from such internet forum providers as Google Groups, Y!G and Facebook.

I agree about the privacy issue, but a simple file counter with no identity revealed would be nice.

Even if there were such a facility it wouldn't tell you very much

Unless all subscribers use the web page, anyone receiving posts by email and reading online or on their computer will not be included
