Subscribe my groups.io list to a google group announcement?

I am looking for a way to subscribe my groups.io list (I'm admin/owner) to a google group.Assuming you can figure out some way to subscribe the integration address to the Google group, you should be able to get Google groups messages into GIO. I don't see how it would work the other way 'round. Does anybody have any suggestions?Try setting up a filter to screen incoming GIO group messages and forward them on to Google. The group's Subject Tag makes a good basis for such a filter. Hope this helps, Bruce P.S. Trying to send messages both ways is hazardous. It's very easy to create a dupe loop, with the two groups repeatedly sending the same message back and forth, over and over again. Check out the groups.io Help Center?and?groups.io Owners Manual |
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?? I'm asking because there are a few options, depending on your intended purpose.

Trying to accomplish a one-way path so that all messages posted to the google group are automatically posted on the groups.io group.
What I've ascertained since my first message in this thread: 1. The groups.io integration email address *is* subscribed to the google group. 2. The latest google group message *did* get posted to the groups.io group. It shows up in the group message list on the website. 3. That message did *not* consistently go out to the groups.io users. 3a. I (group owner) did not get the message from g.io. Several other group members also did not get it. (some gmail, some hotmail, maybe others) 3b. One of the moderators, and a few other group members *did* get the message. (so far, the two I know are both gmail) So, we're kind of baffled here. |

Lots of places to check to help narrow things down. Duane -- The official Groups.io user documentation is in the Groups.io Help Center. GMF's Unofficial Help Wiki: /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki |

I don't believe that the email integration function rewrites these header fields, at least not by default. If everyone who is currently failing to receive the GIO copy has already gotten it via Google, it's could be because your own email providers are rejecting it as a dupe...and frankly, that's exactly what it is.? You can try checking the box labeled "I always want copies of my own emails" at?/account?page=prefs?. This will force groups.io to rewrite the Message-ID field (for you and you alone) before any group emails are sent to you. If that works, each person experiencing this problem will have to do this individually in their own account preferences.?
