A bunch of my files (on several groups) that were uploaded way back when also have a Feb 7 date.? It's not all of them and I can't find a pattern to it.? This behavior is similar to the date/timestamp seen on messages, which shows the posting time for today's messages and the date for anything posted on a previous day. I see no compelling reason why file upload dates should be handled in this manner and changing it would be a good #suggestion for beta. Maybe there is a compelling reason...consistency. Anything uploaded today displays the time it was received. Anything uploaded this year will display Mmm dd Anything uploaded in a previous year will display the date according to your account preference. Message and photo date/timestamps, wiki edits, etc are all handled in this manner. If one is changed, all of them probably should be.
