How do I enlarge photo on home page of my group?

When I upload photo to home page of my group it comes out really small. I can't find a way to enlarge it, say to the size of the elephant photo on this forum's home page. Can anyone help with directions?

The closer the original is to 900x300 pixels, the larger the area covered.? If it's larger than that, it will be scaled down to fit within those limits.

If you send us the image as an attachment (preferably zipped, since I don't know of GMT resizes attached images), perhaps then we can tell you if there is anything about your image that raises a flag.
