Under messages
you get dropdown choices of Messages, Topics, Expanded, Polls

Until this past week or so
Messages has always been selected, I liked it.

Now
EVERYDAY
I have to change it from Topics back to Messages. ?WHY?

Have I accidentally clicked on something? ?Any tips?

It could be that you have accidentally bookmarked the topics URL, or it could be that your browser "remembers" the topics URL and therefore prefers to go to it when you don't watch out.

Try updating your bookmarks and/or edit your browser history:

Topics: /g/GROUPNAME/topics
Messages: /g/GROUPNAME/messages
Messages expanded: /g/GROUPNAME/messages?expanded=1

The site 'remembers' which view you've used last.? If you choose a group from the drop down list of Your Groups at the top, it will be in the format that you last used.? If you select a group from the overview page (Your Groups on the left menu), it's hard coded to Topics view.? It's been suggested that this behavior be consistent, but it hasn't been addressed yet.
