How do I contact IO support

Daddy Dean

I sent a request to IO for the easy transfer of member, email settings, and messages to be done on this Monday.? I wanted to contact support with a question,? Since I read all my emails in hotmail itself.? If I click on the [email protected]. I get there is no email program set up on my computer,? If I try to paste it into hotmail will not send it saying it is not valid email address,? So what do I need to email IO as com did not work when added after the O,

Also does a subgroup have its' own 1 gig of storage or is it based on the parent group 1 gig of storage.

Thanks,

Dean

Dean,

If I click on the [email protected]. I get there is no email program
set up on my computer,
You need to tell your operating system that mailto: links should be passed to your browser, open to a compose window in your Hotmail account. I'm pretty sure this is possible in both Windows and Mac systems.

If I try to paste it into hotmail will not send it saying it is not
valid email address,
Somehow you've got an extra dot in the middle of .io - that address should be
"support at groups dot io", not "dot i dot o"

Also does a subgroup have its' own 1 gig of storage or is it based on
the parent group 1 gig of storage.
Hm...

My only group with subgroups isn't using enough storage to tell (they all say "0.01GB"). I know from a question on beta@ that subgroups share the same count of integrations as the parent. So I'll guess that the storage is shared among them as well.

Hi Shal,

I will go into Windows and made the change, I have had this issue since hotmail stopped working in outlook on other computers, and this one never had any email set up on it since I read and reply right in hotmail or groups as reply.?

Someone else sent the that it should be only .io with out the dot after I and O that was in the link.?

I asked IO that when I sent in my request that I was confirming by contacting support!? I will let the group know what IO says if subgroups have their own gig or it is shared with parent groups storage.?

I also wanted to know when they will add the database tab not have database as part of Wiki.? Again I will let the group know IO's reply as well!

Hi Shal,

I went on and made a sub groups in my W&W group, and it shows that they have used 57% of their one gig of storage.? So that answered that question, sub groups storage is tired to parent group.? When I made my initial group, I made two other separate groups with similar names like we use to do when Yahoo had limited storage.? So I am all set when my gig is full I will move the oldest files to one of new groups and do the same with the oldest photos to other group.? I have them set as announcement only and members can view files on one photos on the other but not place anything there only read.? Also people have to be approved to get access to those groups as well.? So being on Yahoo a long time even as member before I had groups I learned how owners dealt with storage and I just applied that to IO.

Dean ? ?
