Posting my group link
GMF guidelines say:
Solicitations are off topic and will be deleted without comment. Listing your groups in your signature is perfectly acceptable, but just make sure there's also on-topic content in your post. So, sorry, you can't just post about your group here. Look at this thread about growing a group. /g/GroupManagersForum/message/12 And see also - in?Admin, Promote page. The problem is, I am completely blind, and rely on a screen reader. Not sure how I can change the background color for the text.Fabien, that was just one suggestion for marketing your group!? The bottom line - if your group is not listed in the publicly accessible groups (note: it can still be restricted), make sure you change that. Go to Admin, Settings, privacy. In Visibility, choose group listed in the directory. Be sure to scroll down and Update Group to save the changes. And then go to your directory listing in?/search?p=SubsCount,,,20,2,0,0?to check what it says about your group. This description is drawn from your home page. If it doesn't have the right keywords, edit your description on your home page. In Admin, Settings. Again, save the changes. Also I mentioned Admin, Promote. There are signup forms if you have a blog or website. Set your form options and then copy and paste the code into your site.? There are also links for Facebook and Twitter.
Good luck! Frances
