It looks like transfer@... (not ) has accepted the invite but this is the status message and it hasn't changed in days. When I try to resend the invite to [email protected] it gets bumped as Invalid email address. When I try to resend the invite to transfer@... I get Already subscribed. This is the message I get when I click on my existing transfer. I cannot get a bead on where this is at or what I need to do, if anything. Can someone help please??

The instructions on the transfer page at?/yahootransfer?say the following:

3. Send an invite?from your Yahoo Group?to?[email protected]?(bold text in original)

Are you trying to invite the transfer agent to your groups.io group? If so, that will not work, and it's no surprise that the status page screenshot shows that no invitation has been received.

Hope this helps,
Bruce

I realized that out right after I sent that email. I completely missed that the invite had to come from the Yahoo group. My bad but why is there a member on my DogHealth2 group which I made a moderator? I can't figure that out. My son was helping me and maybe he sent that invite or is it part of the migration process? Also another member joined?irmautz@...?. Is this user part of the migration team? Last, I see our display name was changed yesterday "Dog Health <DogHealthGroup@...>?changed their display name from '' to 'Dog Health' via email"?but I didn't do that. Is that also part of the migration process? Thanks.

irmautz is not part of the transfer team. At least no one else has mentioned it! That's a new member.
Did you set up your Groups.io group as restricted??
Did you want to screen new members before approval?
See?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Screening-New-Members-Using-the-Pending-Subscription-Notice
And an overview of setup -?

[email protected]?needs to join your YahooGroups, as you realized. And made a moderator.

You said:
Why is there a transfer.group.io member on my DogHealth2 group which I made a moderator?
Sorry, I can't figure out for sure which is YG and which is Gio.

Dog -- The GIO invite/direct add process should have rejected any email address with the @groups.io domain. Are you sure someone didn't use that for a Display Name?

If you believe the transfer agent is nonetheless a member of your GIO group you will have to send a screenshot so we can help you troubleshoot that.
