Avoiding moderation
Eric Johnson
Is there any setting which will allow a first message by a group member to by-pass moderation? I have a member that reports: There’s a section in settings that requires one thing be chosen as a spam prevention. I chose restricted membership and was able to undo the message moderation for new members. True or false and if true, what are the ramifications other than not having the first message moderated? Yes. As your subscriber noted, you can check "Restricted Group" and uncheck "New Users Moderated" in your Spam Control settings. You will instead have to approve each applicant's subscription. Bruce |
On a similar topic, our Settings are: Restricted Membership
and New Users Moderated. When the transfer takes place, will new users
still be moderated for the first message?
If we disable New Users Moderated, after Transfer, will we have to approve each applicant's subscription? On Thursday 11/7/2019, [Bruce Bowman] said: ________________________________ On Thu, Nov 7, 2019 at 12:48 PM, Eric Johnson wrote:
