Ability to Moderate Photos

Hi all, and forgive me if this has been brought up before but I don't think so -

Would it be possible to add a function that allows moderation of photos? We've had issues in the group I'm moving from Yahoo and the solution there was to moderate photos. It would be a very helpful thing to have within Groups.io (and thanks for a wonderful site, Mark). I'm at a loss as to how to maintain this standard, other than having to review the activity, track each photo and address each one individually that is problematic. Being able to reject them first would be much more efficient. Please? and thank you?

I don't think Mark is a member of this group. It's a moderator-to-moderator (member-to-member) support group.

This has been mentioned on beta@ several times, most recently about a week or so ago. I don't see anything about it on the Trello page though (). I'm certainly in favor of it, along with moderation of files, databases, etc.

Under settings there is a place where you say whether you want everyone to be able to post photos or just moderators.

I'll post to beta but I also wanted to be sure that it wasn't something that had been discussed before. And yes, I know about the whole "on/off" switch, but that isn't what I'm looking/hoping for. Yahoo allowed you to moderate photos the same as messages (one of the few positive things). Thanks, everyone.

Ginny,

It has been discussed before on beta@, quite a long time ago. I advocated for comprehensive moderation capabilities for all features, not just messages.

Thanks Shal, I'm glad to know that I'm not alone on this. It can be downright scary to not have them. I've had group members' info and work disappear due other members twiddling with things and I really would like to avoid it if I can, without having to shut down whole functions.
