Hi All,

New here - just trying to get first Yahoo Group transfer underway - once you have made the request the instructions are to invite [email protected]?to make them a moderator:



However when ever I try and initiate an invite in the group it errors out as an invalid email address?



So I am rather stumped - am I doing something obvious wrong, or is this a bug?

I suspect that you are trying to invite [email protected] to your Groups.io group; you must invite it to the Yahoo Group you are trying to transfer, not your Groups.io one.

PS; it would help if the banner read invite to your Yahoo group, rather than invite to your group. That's simply asking for trouble.

Reread the Detailed Instructions, /g/GroupManagersForum/message/19673 especially step 3.1.
