I tried searching a phrase or two in the Messages, but none were found. Will these old messages be searchable with time?

Yes, Mark said that the indexing mostly tales place overnight (PDT), so check again tomorrow.? It may not be completed, but some should be available.

Yes, but Mark has just posted on beta, so it will take rather longer than it otherwise might.
