Scott,
Can I manually add members to the new group or will that mess up theWhat Duane said. The only issue with members is that the transfer agent will skip any email address that is already in the Groups.io group. Which is not normally a big deal, it means that their Email Delivery, Posting Privileges and Join date aren't copied from the Yahoo Group. I've heard of cases where having an old Join date is considered a prestige item in the group, so if that matters to anyone you might hold off on adding them before the transfer. The rest can be fixed manually if needed. Shal -- Help: /static/help More Help: /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki Even More Help: Search button at the top of Messages list |

Shal, That is a little funny. I was looking at the Yahoo Group and the "old Join date". Can that be edited when users join the new site? Also, any idea how long it will take for the "Transfer" to accept my Yahoo invite? I have not done the upgrade to premium yet? Do I need to do this before "Transfer" will accept my Yahoo invite? Thank you. Scott. |
About transferring -?
You must pay first. For more info, options, etc. see?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/FAQ-on-Moving-from-Yahoo-Groups Frances -- FAQ on Moving from YahooGroups GMF Wiki: (unofficial) Help for members (and would-be members) and group managers |

No, that date is set automatically, either when they join your group here or whatever date is present on YG during the transfer.
