I read here tonight in a message from Duane that I can pay for the upgrade to premium for a basic group and initiate the request for transfer at another time. Is there a deadline for requesting the transfer? Am I understanding this correctly? This is for a Yahoo group with an absentee owner (not for the group I was talking about in a message I just sent a few minutes ago). I have to beg Yahoo to make me a moderator in the absentee owner group before I can ask here for the transfer to happen. I have no idea what it will take to reach Yahoo by phone or if they will grant my request. So I may lose my money. But I at least want to try because there are old messages in there that are extremely valuable to the members and are important to move here if at all possible.

I will pay the premium before we hit today’s deadline for the higher price if someone can respond in time.

Susan --?Yes, it's Dec 1.

I will pay the premium before we hit today’s deadline for the higher price if someone can respond in time.

There is a big red box at the very top of the transfer page (/yahootransfer) explaining this.
