When the group is down for maintenance, are pending messages held?

 

As the group is down for two hours 9-11pm eastern -- are emailed messages held in queue until the site is accessible?
Should members be told to be patient or to NOT send messages during this timeframe?

Rachel -- Yes. All queued mail will be processed when the servers come back up.

Should members be told to be patient or to NOT send messages during this timeframe?
Doesn't matter, really. I have told the people in my groups, mainly to alert them that the web interface will be unavailable for awhile.

Rachel, any messages that or St. During the downtime, will be put in the queue and when the system is back up, does messages will post.
