Member Database Question

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I transferred my group over to Groups.io in 2018 from Y. Recently I noticed different, earlier ¡°Applied¡± dates for about 30% of the members, with dates ranging from 2000 to 2017. How did this happen and can these dates be changed?

?

When a full transfer is done, the date they originally joined the Y group is used.? I don't think it changes to that date if they've joined the group here before the transfer.? I don't believe there's a way to change it.

After doing a little more digging, I found this member¡¯s joined date of 2018 to my group was correct. The member did not transfer over from Y like they were suppose too (They were a member there since 2011), and had to apply to join the new group in 2018. This appears to have been a transfer problem.

Good to know.

This appears to have been a transfer problem.
Well, maybe.

It could be that his account with Yahoo was bouncing. It is also possible that he joined your group ahead of time rather than wait for the transfer to be completed. In either case his account would not have transferred with the rest of your subscribers.?

Hope this helps,
