Hi - I am a member of a group.? The time zone has been set for the wrong time zone since I joined but I don't know how to change it.? Meetings, etc entered as EDT (correct) are changed to PDT on my calendar.? Same for times for messages being posted. Our group administrator did not know why this happened or how to fix it.

Bob,
Have you checked your subscription? Left menu on your group.? You can set your time zone there.? Also in the calendar, if you scroll down, there is a dropdown menu for setting the time zone. If it isn't working properly, then you could report it. You might try the Beta group (in Groups.io) which Mark monitors. It is thus each subscriber's responsibility to correctly set up his own time zone. You can change your own time zone at?/account?page=prefs. This makes it possible for a calendar event to initially be set up in (say) EDT by someone in New York and display at the correct time in PDT for someone in Los Angeles. In theory, anyway, that's how it's supposed to work. Hope this helps, Bruce -- The system Help is your friend.??/static/help |
