can you schedule a special notice to go out on a specific date and time
Linda,
can you schedule a special notice to go out on a specific date andNot directly. But you can create an event (in the calendar) for that date and time, and check the "Send Notice To Group When Event Happens (tagged with #cal-notice)" box at the bottom of the Reminders section for that event. Add no other reminders, and select the green "Add Event" button w/o inviting the group. To make that notice a Special notice, you can use a hashtag with the "Special" box checked. You may not want to check that box in the default #cal-notice hashtag (that would affect notices from all events), but you can add a hashtag of your choosing to the event's "Event Name" field. That will affect the formatting of the message somewhat. Along with the default #cal-notice hashtag it will include the day and date in the subject line. It will include the Event Name in the body as a bold text header, and include a "When:" and "Description:" label in bold text.
